This is where the home of one of our long time faithful evangelists lived. It had been bombed and burned several times and the family has had to flee to live in the jungles. This time it was bombed and completely destroyed. Now this family is trying to rebuild a small home farther away. Please pray for evangelist W S and his family. This was once a beautiful 2 story home that served the community as a meeting hall and church.
These days of such tragedy and violence in Myanmar, many hearts are open to the good news of the gospel, believing in Jesus and being baptized. May God have mercy on Myanmar and may the violence and destruction end soon.
M M’s story as shared by Judah:
We go from house to house and shared the word of God, and we met M M two years ago. He is 75 and a widower. The word we shared touched his heart and he accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. But he is not ready yet to be baptized because of the pressures of his relatives and the society people. Just a month ago, he was very sick passed out, and fell in his home. No one was there. He could not get up himself and screamed for help. No one heard his scream. Finally, he prayed to Jesus and a white man appeared before him, and that white man helped him get up. He believed that the white man was Jesus Christ. His daughter was also a Buddhist before, but after we shared the word of God with her, she accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, and we baptized her. Khin Myint lives with his daughter. Though he is not baptized yet, he is sharing other people that Jesus is the real God. Please pray that he would trust Jesus fully and agree to be baptized.
From Judah: On February 14 I began my long journey from Yangon to Mandalay to Putao to Naungmun and finally the rugged 60 mile drive into the mountains near the China border to the village of Ban Nam Dim. I attended a conference celebrating the 50th anniversary of Naungmun Christian Bible School. Over 1,000 from 32 area churches attended. I traveled the farthest in order to attend, and it was the first time I had ever visited here. It is beautiful mountainous country and very remote. We traveled through the night and had a flat tire on the way, but once there we had a wonderful time! I even got to play some sports and they awarded me a medal for my participation (Photo at top of newsletter). While traveling to each area I was able to give encouragement and help to those in need and I was even reunited with long time friends and fellow servants of Christ. It was a truly wonderful trip! Without your support I would never have been able to do this.

Summer Bible Training School for young adults, and Summer Kids’ Program held at our Yangon Children’s Home in Wireless. Everyone had a wonderful time doing crafts, playing games, and learning about Jesus and the bible.
From Judah: The ministry continues to go well and grow by the grace of God. Our home church, The Wireless Church of Christ in the town of Wireless (Yangon Region), is also doing well as are our four Children’s Homes in Yangon, Jung Byaw, Bago, and Putao where we currently are caring for 76 vulnerable children. It is summer school break right now, but in June school will start back up and we will have more children added to our numbers. These new children come from remote areas and have had little schooling, so attending our schools can be very hard for them. Also, our area schools don’t always want to accept these children as their slow learning makes their jobs harder. Please pray that the new children are accepted and can do well in our homes and schools.

Some of the many who over the past few months have given their lives to Jesus and been baptized. Top photo is of 9 kids from the Yangon Children’s Home and Church. Bottom right photo is of a recent widow, a Muslim lady with 3 young children, who joyfully received the gospel and was baptized.
Your generosity at work! Thank you for giving to our special projects like this soon to be built hydroelectric generator. (above photos). We raised $5000 for this project very quickly. Your support also allowed us to pay for the roof of a pastor’s home/church that had been destroyed, and rice brought to the poor in small villages and camps effected by the ongoing civil war.
Below, baptisms at an IDP (Internally Displaced People) camp, and food being delivered to these camps. We received a $15,000 grant from IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services) to help feed these poor people who have become homeless due to the ongoing civil war throughout many regions in Myanmar. Please pray for an end to this war.
